About the Joondalup Business Association
The Joondalup Business Association (JBA) is a non-government, not-for-profit, incorporated organisation that acts as a representative body for small business within the City of Joondalup. It was established in the early 90's with the aim of representing the views and concerns of small business to local and state government and to promote, sustain and encourage new business to this exciting region.
The Association believes that Joondalup:
- Has exceptional educational, lifestyle and infrastructure facilities
- Must build its existing business base to ensure growth and thereby more employment opportunities.
- Must stay competitive and strong to survive as other areas to the north are developed
Major initiatives include:
- Business and community directory.
- Establishment of the Joondalup Business Centre (formerly Incubator).
- Buy local campaign.
- McLarty Avenue Multi-deck Commercial and Parking Development concept/proposal.
- Joondalup Business Park Directory sign
The JBA continues to build a strong membership base which is essential in representing the views and concerns of the small business community to Local, State & Federal Government. This gives us the strength of numbers that allows us to make a difference.
