GOOD ASSOCIATIONS

The Joondalup & Wanneroo Business Associations took the opportunity to jointly represent their respective organisations as part of a summit to progress the future of the north west corridor.

JBA President Russell Crook said both associations were invited to present information at one of many joint stands set up to promote the north west metro region at a workshop recently conducted at the City of Wanneroo.

“The workshop, organised by the Department for Planning and Infrastructure North-West Corridor Coordinating Committee and coordinated by the City of Wanneroo facilitated discussion on the economic development and employment challenge for the northwest corridor,” Mr Crook said.

“Our associations share similar goals in representing our local business communities and while we concentrate on our own areas of operation it is important that we work together in supporting the wider business community.

“Many of our members are also members of the WBA, and vice versa, which all contributes to a vital networking experience which benefits all who are involved,” Mr Crook said.
