JBA LOOKS TO RETAIN EMPLOYEES

Finding and retaining the right people for their business was the focus of a presentation at a business breakfast held by the Joondalup Business Association recently.

 

JBA President Russell Crook introduced Human Resources specialist John Willett of Jolin Consulting who informed members and guests how to first find the best employee for the job and, more importantly, how to retain them.

 

“Australia is currently experiencing a very tight employment market, particularly here in the West with the resources boom driving our economy, and the risk that not getting the right person for the job might actually damage businesses is a reality, “ Mr Crook said.

 

“The Jolin strategy is aimed at managing this risk by informing businesses how to go about the process of recruitment using a stand alone program that enables business owners to easily evaluate applicants – a virtual DIY recruitment system,” he said.
