JBA AND CITY MEET ON BUSINESS PARK

The Joondalup Business Association and the City of Joondalup met recently to discuss and update plans on improvements to the Joondalup Business Park.

JBA President Russell Crook said that traffic management, landscaping, signage, security and rezoning were among issues close to the heart of many business operators and were being looked at positively by the City,” Mr Crook said.

“In our continuing bid to attract new businesses into the park, and in turn provide local employment, it is important that these issues are addressed for the benefit of the whole community, including owners, customers and investors,” he said.

Recently appointed Director of Infrastructure Services Martyn Glover met with JBA executive committee members and business operators to give an overview of upgrade plans including the proposed construction of a roundabout at the junction of Pontiac and Winton, substantial redevelopment of verges along Joondalup Drive and entry statement and directory signage.

“The JBA is appreciative of the consultation opportunity and looks forward to achieving results through the ongoing working partnership we have with our local authority,” Mr Crook said.
