JBA PARTYS ON

Joondalup Business Association networking functions continue to draw crowds of members and guests intent on making friends and doing business.

 

JBA President Russell Poliwka said Commonwealth Bank and Simplicity Funerals hosted two such events recently where food, wine and guest speakers were on offer.

 

“The events were once again very successful with members getting the most out of the networking opportunities and receiving some interesting information from the speakers,” Mr Poliwka said.

 

“CBA guest speaker Ken Philips, of Independent Contractors Australia, outlined recent law & policy changes that affect small business and also included a Q&A session.

 

“At the Simplicity Funerals function, held at the funeral home in Winton Road, Regional Manager Daniel McKeig gave an overview of the services provided by the organisation and also demystified some of the procedures of the industry. Daniel said the main focus of Simplicity Funerals is caring for the families involved,” Mr Poliwka said.

 

“All in all we had some fun while doing what we do best and I thank our hosts, Enza Merolla of CBA and Teresa Livingston of Simplicity Funerals for their continued support of the JBA,” Mr Poliwka said.
