BIG JBA PARTY ENDS GOOD YEAR

The Joondalup Business Association signed off its function calendar for 2009 in style with over 100 members and guests celebrating the festive season at Venues West Arena Joondalup last Friday.

 

JBA President Russell Poliwka said the turn up was the largest in recent memory for one of the association’s regular sundowner ‘business after hours’ functions.

 

 “Arena Joondalup has been a member of the JBA for over 14 years and we have had many sundowners in the Sports Bar in that time and this one was as successful as any of them,” Mr Poliwka said.

 

“This event was one of ten sundowner functions held by the association this year and members took the opportunity to ring in the festive season as well as create some good networking connections with fellow small business operators,” he said.

 

“Our recently conducted member survey has shown that these functions are very popular and continue to promote our organisation and attract new members, “Mr Poliwka said.

 

“Congratulations to world renowned, award winning local business entity, and long time JBA member, Patrick Vuaillat of Sugar & Spice Patisserie who was the winner of the incentive prize for our recently conducted member survey. Patrick received an 81cm HD LCD TV for completing the survey in the required timeframe,” he said.

 

Venues West Director of Venue Services Chris Andrich said it was a pleasure to be involved with the JBA and Arena Joondalup would continue to be a partner in supporting local business and the wider community as it has done over the past 14 years.
