ECU North West Metro Small Business Awards 2009 The 2009 ECU North West Metro Small Business
Awards concluded with the gala presentation dinner at the Joondalup Reception Centre on Saturday May 23 where over 150 guests, including sponsors, entrants, employees and family members, celebrated the achievements of the best of small business in the North West Metro region.
The 2009 awards featured ten categories including two new awards for Best Eco Business and Real Estate Business of the Year.
The annual awards were sponsored by Edith Cowan University and supported by category sponsors Australia Post, Joondalup Retravision, Community Newspaper Group, City of Joondalup, Commonwealth Bank, Small Business Development Corporation, West Coast TAFE, Real Estate WA and the Joondalup Business Association.
The quality of the entries was once again outstanding and a credit not only to the winners but to all who participated and they are to be commended for such a brilliant effort. Given the high quality of the entries the judges once again had a very difficult task with the Business of the Year being determined by a mere .5 of a point.
