Hamish.R Fire Bricks and Recycling Services

Got a garage full of cardboard boxes, bags of empty drink containers piling up, a shed hiding old car batteries, or a drawer of dead electronics you never know what to do with? Hamish.R Bricks and Recycling Services takes the hassle out of recycling. Hamish comes to you, collects the clutter, and makes sure it’s recycled the right way, so you don’t have to load up the car or line up at the tip. And if you love a cosy fire, his handmade paper fire bricks make great kindling for your wood heater or fire pit.

Run by local young entrepreneur Hamish Rafferty from Kallaroo, the business offers easy, reliable recycling pick-ups across Joondalup, Wanneroo and Perth’s northern suburbs. Hamish collects drink containers for Containers for Change, and offers cardboard removal and pick-ups of e-waste, household batteries and small kitchen appliances, which he takes to Tamala Park for responsible recycling. It’s a simple, affordable option for busy households, cafés, offices and organisations.

For tradies and homeowners with small loads of scrap metal, Hamish also offers scrap metal pick-up and removal. He collects car and truck batteries, aluminium, copper, brass, lead and stainless steel, and delivers them to a Wangara scrap metal recycler.

He also collects shredded office paper to repurpose, and newspaper to turn into paper fire bricks, giving waste paper a second life as an eco-friendly fire starter.
